
The BFD – open to all generations
The BFD is a statutory voluntary service for all generations, for example for
people who have finished raising their children
people in early retirement or retirement
people looking to return to work
people changing careers

This is the BFD
the duration is 6 to 18 months.
the BFD is also available on a part-time basis – with a minimum of 20.1 hours per week.
participants receive an induction, practical guidance and support from full-time staff.
in the seminars, volunteers share their experiences and receive further training on topics that interest them.
no church or religious affiliation is required for the BFD.
